Education-wise, there are four primary schools and one highschool in the area. Hull Trinity House Academy, a City Academy, is the highest performing school in the city, receiving an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding' in 2020.

The city centre has been undergoing a major £25 million regeneration project since 2012, which has seen the redevelopment of public spaces, office blocks and a number of structures like The Deep Aquarium, which is a popular tourist attraction.

The area is also home to the St Stephen's shopping centre, which has over 90 retail stores, restaurants and a six screen multiplex cinema.

For those looking to get active, there are plenty of sports clubs, leisure centres and outdoor green spaces to explore. The City Sports & Arts Centre and Albert Avenue Football and Sports Centre offer a variety of sports activities, including five-a-side football, badminton, squash and more.

The surrounding green spaces offer peaceful nature reserves, a botanical garden and athletic tracks.

Hull's rich maritime and industrial heritage can also be explored, with a number of museums, monuments and attractions open to the public, such as William Wilberforce's birthplace, Wilberforce House, and the Maritime Museum.
