Surface water manhole to left of entrance gate to Stockaway Cottage, 11 Stockaway, Weedon, 13th April
(Previously reported under reference 5777524 and reported as fixed...but sadly not!) This manhole is completely full of water and overflowing into the roadway and flooding the public footpath at the end of the lane. As previously reported, there would appear to be a blockage 'downstream' of this manhole.

Ditch to the front of 93 Aston Abbotts Road, 9th April
The pictures were taken on 28th March 2024. The ditches were FULL of water. Residents report that the water has at times overflowed the ditch, going down into their garden and almost reaching the front of the house. The water is stagnant, growing algae, due to the length of time it has stood without draining away.
Ditches to the east and west along the house frontages are in a similar condition. Also on the opposite side of the road. but no. 93 is particularly urgent.

Water somewhere beyond the manhole outside our front gate at 11 Stockaway. Water escaping around edge of cover., 28th March
Have recently noticed a continuing stream of water past our driveway towards the public footpath at the south end of Stockaway. Its source is a surface water manhole on the roadside in front of our property. To further investigate we lifted the cover slightly and found that the manhole is full to the brim with water, and with the manhole cover slightly open the volume of water flowing has increased. It would seem that water is being blocked from flowing beyond this particular manhole. To investigate further we lifted the cover slightly and after an initial surge of water the flow has continued, generally following the pattern of rainfall. The water runs down the lane to the start of the public footpath which has now become a muddy bog.

Two road drains/gullies blocked again, 26th March
Despite previous clearances, the two road drains at the top and bottom of the public part of Northcroft are in bad shape. They appear to be almost completely blocked. This causes all the surface water from the High Street to run down Northcroft and beyond the public highway down Glebe Farm's driveway.
The road drain at the top of Northcroft outside 30 High Street HP22 4NW is apparently a U-bend and easily gets stacked up, so that the excess water is not taken away at that point, and continues to run heavily down Northcroft.
The other at the bottom of Northcroft outside Stockley House HP22 4NR is apparently blocked 12 feet from the drain, at the top of Glebe Farm driveway. The deluge of water has caused, and continues to cause, severe damage to the surface of the drive.
We believe these are priority problems which could be dealt with while the teams are due to be on site in Weedon High Street on 27 - 29 March.

There is a dead cat on the grass bank below the brick wall border of the property called Sunnybank on Buckingham Road, 22nd March
The cat is located on the right hand side of the A413 on the grass bank afront the brick wall of property Sunnybank, Buckingham Road, Hardwick. Communication in the village had not resulted in anyone claiming the cat. The cat has now been dead for a week.

Outside the wall of the John Bridles Hall on the corner of the path where it ends onto the road, 16th March
Drain is full of mud, grit, dirt, and silt and the rainwater can not run free from our gulleys, considering the amount of rain we have had this is causing a problem in the playground where children are playing from the local preschool

Drain by John Bridles Hall, 5th March
Drain is backed up and up to the top of the drain. This is causing issues for the Hall as this is backing up all their system as it all seems to run into one network. This seems to be backing up fresh water and sewage. Please can this be looked into urgently as children attend the hall every day.

Welcome to Whitchurch sign and national speed sign are very dirty and green from the trees. Will need a clean to improve. People aren't following the speed limit in the village and having this sign cleaned might help benefit

Pothole in line with driver side tyres. As the road bends slightly right, before the climb uphill to Weedon. You only see this pothole when you’re about to hit it!

Numerous large potholes lhs coming towards cross roads, 24th February
There are numerous large potholes in the road in the line of where you drive. They are all over 20cms in diameter and 10-15 cms deep. There is no way to avoid these potholes with cars always parked on the other side of the road.
