Excessive and increasing flytipping., 9th April
A cooker and other rubbish (including a golf bag and some piping) have been dumped at the corner of Glenhove Road in Carbrain (next to the old Red Cross building). It is increasing on a daily basis and some of it may have come from the Red Cross building which was being renovated last week.

Erected Tent (No laughing in the back), 9th April
Someone has put up their tent In the grounds of Kildrum Parish Church in Cumbernauld. Unless my eyesight is playing up, there was a brown tent yesterday and today there is a greenish one, so there could be more than one person involved. If council staff do investigate this, then please be cautious and attend in numbers.

This is right in the tyre line of cars approaching the old inns roundabout . It's dangerous to straddle it due to up hill traffic flow and the width of the road. Our car and 1 other we know have both gone in it.

Pavement obstructions, 27th March
The pavement here is partially obstructed by the hedges of the houses (more than one guilty party) on Row 16 on Clouden Road. As a main route for people getting to and from the local pharmacy, it is imperative that the pavement is kept clear for street cleaning and gritting.

Dangerous crossing, 27th March
Why are school kids allowed to cross the road (from Doon Side bus stop to get to Cumbernauld academy?? north lanarkshire council wanted Cumbernauld High School to merge with Abronhill High School into one building in Kildrum so somebody somewhere should have realised there would be an increase of pupils from Abronhill alighting from buses in Kildrum. And whose idea was it to put a pedestrian gate at the road entrance to the school grounds? Isn't it obvious that kids WON'T go through the underpass to get to a gate when crossing the road is quicker? Somebody should get kicked out of their job for allowing this to happen. Get a warden to stop the dangerous crossings.

Uneven footpath and water pooling outside house, 22nd March
The footpath at the end of Mossgiel Road (outside 10A) is very uneven and a trip hazard. The water pools there when it rains and doesn't seem to be able to drain away, often causing a large build up of water. It's been like this for approximately 2.5 years.

Fly Tipping, 18th March
A black fridge freezer has been fly tipped on the road outside 85A, GREENRIGG ROAD, CUMBERNAULD, G67 2QB, on 17/3/2024 between 17:30 and 18:40, there is 2 NL council security cameras with view of the fly tip. The fly tip is blocking the road making it difficult for cars to pass, emergency vehicles and bin collection trucks will find it difficult to pass.

Missing recycling bins, 17th March
The recycling bins have been removed from all of Rowan road. My last email query was ignored and marked as “resolved” even though I hadn’t had a response. I would like to know when the recycling bins will be returned as there is no where to recycle anything and people are now leaving recycling where the bins used to be. My flat is getting full up of stuff to recycle with no where to put it.
