The area is also well connected to Glasgow's road network, with easy access to the Clydeside Expressway and the M8 motorway, making it a convenient area for commuters.

There are several parks and green spaces in the G15 area, including Knightswood Park with its attractive loch and woodland walks, as well as South Park and The Glaw with its popular skatepark. The Clyde Canal also passes through the area, offering stunning views as well as a popular walkway.

There are also a number of primary schools, secondary schools, and nurseries in the area, including St. Mary's and Glencairn Primary Schools.
