North Molton is a small village which, during the 19th century, was a large centre for corset-making. North Molton Golf Club is a 9-hole course located in the village. In addition to this, Supertubing North molton is a venue for activities such as paintballing which younger generations can enjoy.

Landkey is a small village which was once occupied by the English Civil War forces. It is the home of The Pottery which produces a range of local rusticware.

Bishop's Nympton is host to a Norman church which is the oldest church in the parish and a major centre for the hunt of Hounds of The West Country. It also has a house and marquee venue for hire known as The Old Rectory.

Goodleigh is a village situated close to the Rivers Taw and Yeo. It contains a pub, Goodleigh Inn, which has been awarded North Devon Pub of the year on various occasions. It is particularly known for its excellent local food. The village also contains a 12th-century church known as 'St John The Baptist'.

The EX36 postcode is part of the Exmoor National Park and provides many outdoor activities such as horse riding, fishing, strolling along the banks of the rivers, bird watching, and flower spotting. There are also great historical sites and attractions to explore including Combe Sydenham Hall and Tarr Steps.
