The area is also home to numerous nature reserves, gardens and parks, offering a variety of wildlife, such as over 250 species of birds and mammals. Nature lovers can also discover a wide range of fauna and flora, with Exmoor National Park being one of the major attractions in the area.

The area contains numerous downland villages, amongst them Dolton, Manaton and North Tawton. Longer walks take in natural attractions such as the Doone Valley and East Lyn Valley. There are a number of local pubs and cafés as well as interesting traditional shops, so it is easy to relax and take in the local sights at your own pace.

EX32 is also home to a variety of English heritage sites, including several castles, as well as the Iron Age hillfort at Hemyock. Further attractions can be found in the coastal resorts of Ilfracombe, Bideford and Clovelly, where locals and visitors alike can enjoy the rolling blue waters.

The area also contains a variety of local primary and secondary schools, as well as the well-known Petroc College at Barnstaple. For entertainment, EX32 provides beautiful beaches and nature reserves in the form of the Westward Ho! beach, Bideford Bay and Lynmouth Beach. The Grand Western Canal Country Park is also a popular spot.
