EX23 is a postcode district in the EX postcode area, which covers parts of north Devon, South East Cornwall, and a small part of Dorset in the South West of England. It is situated approximately 50 miles to the south west from the county town of Exeter, and varies in elevation from sea level to the highest point in Cornwall around 50 miles inland at the summit of Brown Willy.

The EX23 postcode covers an area of roughly 100 square miles, and includes the seven towns of Bude, Widemouth Bay, Kilkhampton, Stratton, Marhamchurch, Holsworthy, and Bradworthy. Bude is the largest of these towns, boasting two beaches, shops, bars, and a cinema. Kilkhampton is the smallest of the towns included in EX23, yet it still has plenty to offer visitors – it is home to larger shops, cafes, a golf course, and several pubs.

EX23 has a range of different landscapes, from the rugged North Devon coastline to the wooded hillsides and moors of the interior. There are several lovely views across the area, including the rocky coastline of Widemouth Bay, where you can watch the changing sea and endless waves rolling in. The area is also home to an abundance of wildlife, including birds, badgers, foxes, and deer.

In terms of transport connections, the A39 main road and the A30 are both located nearby, making it easy to get to EX23. Additionally, Newquay Airport, located about 45 miles away, offers flights to a range of destinations as well as connection options to London and beyond.

EX23 is an excellent base for exploring the South West of England. Walking trails, beaches, and plenty of other attractions ensure visitors are never short of things to do.
