Wed, 25 Jan 2017 08:54:36 +0000
51.004121 -3.61015

Seriously defective and deteriorating road surface. Why didn't DCC do the job properly and resurface the whole road when they made recent repairs between Tuckers Moor Cross and Countiesmeet? The nevessity to return and have to continue the work is a waste of public money. Who is accountable for this waste?

Disintegration of the road, 9th August

Tue, 09 Aug 2016 17:11:35 +0100
51.008246 -3.610147

The road N of Tuckers Moor x-road to the turn for Dulverton is disintegrating and almost undriveable in patches. The vibration is damaging to vehicles and I have already had to replace a tyre on my Land Rover Defender due to damage to the tyre wall from this section of road. Steering control is affected by the extremely rough nature of the disintegrated surface and it is only matter of time before there is an accident with a horse, walker or cyclist at worst, or two or more cars at least. It is in appalling condition and needs urgent attention. It has been an issue for more than 2 years and is now at the very urgent stage
