There are also over 20 Sites of Special Scientific Interest near EX12, including Chard Reservoir, Budleigh Salterton sand cliffs and the Seaton Jurassic Coast.

Memorable attractions in the area include a reconstructed Iron Age village at Seaton, a toy museum in Axminster and a farm shop in Uplyme. EX12 is also only a short drive away from Exeter Cathedral, the Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis and the town of Beer.
