In addition to this, there are several institutions of higher education situated within the boundaries of EH30, such as the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh Napier University, and the Edinburgh College of Art.

When it comes to transport, local bus services run throughout the day and night, while the Princes Street Tram Line runs along the northern part of the EH30 area, connecting the city centre with the airport.
