There are a several potholes that have been getting progressively over the last year. They have been reported but the council say they are do not warrant a repair. I now can't avoid scaping the bottom of my car each time I drive through them

Too bright, questionable if needed., 10th March
This is the last street light on the southbound stretch on Main Street, Closeburn. The lights new fitting has created extremely broad radius of light through its surrounding houses. If the council feel this light is essential then may it at least have a capped or hooded cover so that the light source is directed towards the path/Road as intended.

14 inch hole depth 8 inches, 4th February
Pothole getting bigger everyday it is right outside my house. the constant thump thump is one nightmare day and night the house shudders when hgv`s go by not doing 40mph

Pothole not far from The Meadows, 3rd December
There is a nasty pothole on the back road going from Croalchapel towards Closeburn school. It is on the corner just north of The Meadows. This pothole has been there for a few months now and I thought it would have been filled when the council repaired the uneven road some metres away.

2 patches of full road with serious subsidance., 4th November
This problem is 2 worsening patches of full width subsidence which have continued to worsen over a few weeks. This is a bus route served by the Council Bus Service. The subsidence is now so severe that it can throw a vehicle to one side if care is not taken and speed severely reduced.

This road has been repaired, but the potholes are already starting to appear again. This happens every time this road is "patched up". Surely this road needs to be sorted more effectively to prevent this happening every year.
