DN20 postcode is a postcode district in the Scunthorpe post town of the North East Lincolnshire postcode area in the UK. It is bounded by the DN17 and DN21 postcode districts to the south, the DN16 postcode district to the east, the DN18 and DN19 postcode districts to the north, and the DN15 postcode district to the west. Much of the DN20 postcode district was covered by the Bottesford Urban District from the late 19th century until its absorption into South Humberside in 1974, with minor parts covering the parishes of Gunness, Winteringham, and Flixborough.

DN20 postcode district is home to the town of Brigg, located roughly halfway between Scunthorpe and Grimsby. The town is one of the main market towns of north Lincolnshire, and is marked by its 700 year old market charter granted by King John in 1201. The market is still held in the town centre on Wednesdays, featuring a market square which is home to a range of independent shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants.

The DN20 postcode district also includes the town of Appleby, located just off the A15 road connecting Scunthorpe and Barton-upon-Humber. The village is known for its Grade I listed parish church of St Botolph, which dates from the 13th century and is one of the best surviving examples of a Middle Ages church in the region. Besides the church, Appleby also has a local public house, a butchers, a greengrocers, and a Post Office.

Thurswell is another major settlement in the DN20 postcode district. It is a small village between Brigg and Appleby, home to a country park covering over 200 acres of woodland, open grassland, rabbit warrens, and a bird sanctuary. It is also one of the only two rural wind farms in the region, providing electricity to over 600 homes in the area.

Eastoft is the largest settlement of the DN20 postcode district, located between Appleby and Scunthorpe. The village is linked to the nearby market town of Broughton by a bridge over the Ancholme River. Eastoft itself is known for its Grade II listed church of St Laurence as well as a 17th century watermill, which has been converted into a museum of local life. It also holds the Eastoft Scarecrow Festival every July.

Alkborough Flats is a nature reserve located in the southern part of the DN20 postcode district. Part of the South Humber foreshore, it is the highest area of land along the banks of the Humber Estuary. It is an important habitat for a variety of birds, including wading birds, wildfowl, and waders, as well as two scheduled ancient monuments. It is popular amongst birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts alike, and includes a visitor centre and nature trail.
