We have water running down road ice forming & holes in road, 16th January
We have an issue with 2 springs that have come up top of skinners lane water is now fast flowing running down the lane ice has formed and dips at bottom in road.very dangerous.this is happening because the quarry at cemex has filled to the top and overflowing causing natural spring to breech the road surface. we have already had 2 accidents on hight street corner on bend towards barton.please can you get this sorted asap thanks

Over grown footpaths and trees, 14th November
It has come to the residents attention there have been near misses /slips and trips due to the condition of the footway in the village of Horkstow. Overtime the vegetation has become so encroached over the pathways they have now become very narrow, slippery and in poor condition and barely wide enough for one person. Parents are walking in the road so children can walk safely on the path. The same with anyone with dogs or pushchairs and Disability scooters cannot use the paths either. We will no longer continue to accept accidents or incidents as the norm, especially as the foot paths do not have to be this way and can be cleared by the council and a regular maintenance programme put in place. Going forward every incident or near miss on the footway will be reported and claims made for any injuries caused. I would also like to make a FOI request for the last 3 years of inspection / repair and maintenance records. I await your response to how the issue will be resolved.

Large and deep pothole, 2nd January
Appeared in last few days a very deep pothole. Would wreck a cars suspension or knock a motorbike off if they went through it. Just before the bridge coming into South ferriby near the edge of the road. Currently disguised as a puddle.

Manhole cover loose/unsteady. Excessive noise, 15th November
Opposite Old Warp Lane South Ferriby, in the lane heading towards Barton. Every time a vehicle goes over it the noise is so loud. I reported this months ago- and actually a few weeks ago the Lane was blocked off for most of the day (a Sunday), but no one actually did or even attempted to fix it.
