Severe Deterioration to both WB Lanes - Major fretting, 19th March
Severe deterioration to road surface in both lanes on the approach and around this junction WB, becoming very dangerous for daily motorcycle commute, this section has been getting progressively worse over the last few weeks/month, some recent isolated repairs were undertaken in CL2, however it is clear that both lanes require extensive repairs/resurfacing.

Large potholes, 6th February
Hi, I'm the manager at the petrol station on the a52 just before the Borrowash by-pass and I've had a lot of complaints about the potholes on the entrance to the site which isn't part of our land, we've had some near misses and some saying its causing damage to there cars so they wont come back and now we are losing business. we have recently had the exit resurfaced by yourselves and was notified about getting the work done we assumed that the entrance was getting done to but its got worst.

Multiple potholes, 21st December
There are multiple very deep wide potholes all the way down Far Lane right to Little Hay Grange. They have now been there for over 6 months but as now bigger and very dangerous. Most of them are at least 15cm deep or more and some are as wide as 50 - 60 cm or more. It is virtually impossible to go more than about 5 miles an hour and is getting more treacherous.

Anne Topham gravestone broken, 13th November
This gravestone has recently been broken. That must be very difficult to do, given the weight of the stone. Could that have been by the grass mowers? Anne Topham's contribution to Spondon and to society are commemorated in the Spondon Archive book The Life and Times of Anne Topham, governess to the Kaiser's daughter 1902-1909.

Travelled from ockbrook to Borrowash this morning at 07:05 and the temporary traffic lights are all stuck on red

Parking opposite junction, 15th August
Continuous parking at the end of Bare Lane, witnessed several near misses as cars pull out of the opposite junction on to the Ridings as cars are in the middle of the road. Saw an elderly lady nearly hit by a car here over the weekend

Road markings/signs faded, 15th August
I am emailing about a dangerously parked vehicle in Borrowash. It parks on Victoria Avenue extremely close to the blind bend of the slip road off of the A52. The car parks outside of number 190 and causes lots of near misses every single day. There are no stopping signs on the road, but they have faded. I am unsure if the owner of the car is aware of this. My biggest concern is that there is going to be a serious accident due to so many people not following the speed limit as they come off of the A52, and not expecting a parked car around a blind bend.

Flooding behind A52 on Arnhem terrace, 20th June
The water pours down from the A52 into my garden it’s like a river and has flooded my property this week. Arnhem Terrace outside my property floods in the road too

Over grown grass and trees, 15th June
Grass down the side of the A52 from the petrol station to the borrowash junction over grown staff and customer use the grass verge to get to and from the station and is becoming vert dangerous, all other side of the grass verge has been cut but that part has been left
