DL15 is served by the Staindrop to Durham County Council bus, which runs Monday to Friday, with an additional service on a Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays.
In terms of attractions, DL15 has the 17th century hall Gainford Hall, along with the ruins of Egglestone Abbey. Easby Hall near Richmond is also close by, making DL15 an enjoyable place for those interested in history.
