Overgrown hedge, 4th October
Hedgeline is badly encroaching onto public footpath meaning you have to walk into road to get past. Very narrow busy road with big wagons and no other footpath to walk on. Could this hedge be cut back between church entrance and junction at bottom thanks

Carpet and rubbish on footpath, 10th December
Carpet pieces on footpath adjacent to Rosemary Cottage Rhosesmor Road, Halkyn. I think the carpet pieces have blown to the area from a skip at a property higher up on, Rhosesmor Road. I do not believe they have come from Rosemary Cottage.

Abandoned vehicle?, 9th April
Hi,
A maroon Nissan (DG51 OBT) appears to have been abandoned in the car park next to the children's play area in Rhosesmor. The vehicle has been there for a few weeks. There are only a few residents in the lane and nobody knows about it.

Rubbish in grounds of Rosemary Cottage, 11th May
The garden of this property is scattered with rubbish and most of the rubbish is at the bottom of the bank adjacent to and sometimes on the footpath. This is unsightly and a health hazard as rats have been seen amongst this rubbish and crossing the road onto adjacent property.

Barking dogs/revving motorcycle central stores halkyn, 22nd July
The two dogs at this property consistently bark throughout the day. There is also the noise of a motorbike being revved up. This is onging and is a noise nuisance and anti-social behaviour on their part. They appear to have no consideration for their neighbours. We cannot sit and enjoy our garden in peace.

Dangerous overhanging trees, 3rd April
Numerous overhanging trees with branches which are low and look near to breaking and falling . There is a footpath and a main road underneath this canopy of trees. Some branches have already fallen and their unsafe condition seriously compromises both the safety of motorists and pedestrians.

Erection of log cabin, 25th February
What appears to be a two-storey log cabin/wooden house has been erected within the woods belonging to Halkyn Castle. It is visible from the footpath. I think this is in a conservation area and I cannot find an approved planning application on your website. Does it need planning permission?

Broken grid, 3rd May
Broken grid on main highway. Each time a car drives over it makes a very loud 'clunking' noise. It is very bad in times of heavy traffic and sounds like a train. I am very concerned that this grid will get worse and cause a car or lorry etc to vere off the road and into my boundary/garden causing damage. I have reported this by telephone to the highway department approximately 3 weeks ago but have heard nothing as yet, so thought I would use this facility. Thank you for your time.
