CM19 is a postcode located in the Chelmsford district. It is located in the south of the district, immediately east of Harlow district. It is centered on the village of Three Farms and the Tye Green hamlet, both in the civil parish of Matching. Both are located on the junction of the B1383 and B1417 roads. The arterial road A414 passes through the northern border of the postcode district near to the hamlets of Pleshey and Rodden.

The majority of the district is rural in nature, mostly comprising arable agricultural land. The Tye Green hamlet is home to an equestrian center, and there are a number of farms and smallholdings in the area. There are also several industrial and business parks in the area, including the Harlow Park Industrial Estate and The Meadows Industrial Estate.

The CM19 postcode has excellent transport links. It lies only a few miles west of the M11 motorway and is on the main rail line between Harlow and Chelmsford. Trains run regularly to London's Liverpool Street station and to the nearby towns of Harlow and Bishop's Stortford. Stansted Airport is also easily accessible, being just over 10 miles west of CM19.

The local area has all the amenities local residents need, including a selection of pubs, restaurants, a supermarket, a post office, a primary school, and local churches.

CM19 is home to two voluntary organisations, the Three Farms Community Trust and the Pleshey Preservation Society. These organisations are dedicated to conserving the area's unique natural beauty and preserving its long history. They are involved in a variety of local initiatives, ranging from the preservation of local woodland to providing funding opportunities for local businesses.
