ISSUE: Road Safety is a concern and specifically wanted us to address speeding along the A6071 and the surrounding towns
ACTION: Increased patrols in identified areas and use of speed measuring equipment to target speeding motorists.
Deployment of safety camera vans to identified locations.
Working with local partners to address road safety issues.
Referred the issues raised to our casualty reduction officer for a long term problem solving approach.

ISSUE: ASB in the Lochinvar Close area of Longtown has been identified as an issue from our local surveys.
ACTION: We now have a designated officer for the Longtown area and he has been working with the community and local housing providers to address anti-social behaviour in the area. A number youths have been identified and investigations are ongoing.

ISSUE: Youth anti-social behaviour in Brampton town centre has been highlighted as a recurring issue u2013 Information from our PACT surveys tell us that the community is concerned about the levels of ASB.
ACTION: The local team have been actively patrolling the area and a number of youths have been identified and positively dealt with
