Lack of Maintenance, 13th March
There is a small green area, in the turning circle, which consists of trees and bushes. I have been informed that this area should be maintained by the council. However, it never has. I have always maintained this area, as it frequently overgrows the path. On past occasions, I have been able to dispose of the green waste in recycling bags, and any general waste, I disposed of through my own waste. However, rule changes prevent me from doing this. I can no longer use recycling bags for green waste, and the general waste will be increasing to 3 weekly. This means I will no longer be able maintain this green area.
Would you now be able to include this area in your routine maintenance?
I have cleared the most recent obstruction. However, the waste is piled up and requires removal. If this could be completed as soon as possible, it would be appreciated.

Broken Glass, 3rd September
I'm currently about a third way between Cwmbach and Mountain Ash. So far I've come across 4 instances of broken glass, strewn across the pavement. This is forcing my dog and i, into a busy road to avoid his pads being cut. To have so many instances, errs towards poor maintenance rather than 4 unlucky incidents.

Council want to cut tree down, 6th June
Recently the council have decided the tree needs to come down. Most of the residents don't want to see this happen and the council were about to cut it down when we found out they haven't got a report as to why the tree needs to come down.
The tree is full of wildlife, many birds and bats... It is a beautiful tree that has been standing strong for over 40 years. There has never been any issues with branches falling or anything dangerous.
Children play on/around this tree and they have expressed that they don't want it to come down.
The council have pledged £50,000 to planting trees but seem adamant to cut down as many flower/fruit trees as possible.
Many people want to save this tree.

No lighting, 29th September
I personally work shifts and I know there are other key workers on my street. This was my street upon returning home this evening. It is dangerous and to dark to manoeuvre yourself around. The only light source available, albeit dim, is from a home owner on the end. Without his outdoor light, we would be plunged into darkness. There is a lamp half way down the street. Could we please have this as a light source, to prevent injury in the early hours?
