Sports and leisure activities are readily available in the area, with parks such as Oldbury Court Estate, St Anne's Park, and Oldbury Playing Fields all located in or near BS99. Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park is also close by.
The district also has two nature reserves: Filwood Park and Little Stoke Marsh. These are managed by Avon Wildlife Trust and are popular for their nature trails, wildlife viewing areas and bird hides.
Local landmarks in BS99 include St Peter's Church, the Filwood Windmill and Filwood Park. The area also has the distinction of being home to a group of bronze age burial mounds, known as the Bishopsworth Round Barrow Group.
BS99 is a vibrant area, well-connected to central Bristol, and with a wide array of shopping and leisure amenities. It is home to a diverse range of people and its parks and reserves offer a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
