FIXMYSTREET IN BS3 1NX
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of BS3 1NX:
Street lights still not fixed, 23rd April
2 lights are now not working on Friezewood Road outside 18 and 50 Despite reporting these multiple times the job keeps getting closed and saying they are fixed These are most definitely not fixed I suggest you liaise with the company who you employ to carry out this work and find out what is going on The light outside 18 Friezewood has not worked since autumn of 2023 and the one outside 50 has been out for at least 2 weeks now. We pay our council tax which includes adequate street lighting yet we don’t seem to have that luxury. We only have 5 lights in the street and with 2 of these STILL not working it has become a danger and a very big problem. Please get these fixed and stop closing the job down when they clearly are not fully working

Light illuminated 24/7, 22nd April
This light being on day and night was reported in December 2023, and the issue reported by BCC as 'fixed' and the enquiry 'closed' on 8 April 2024. However, the fault has returned within a week of the issue being closed, which has an environmental impact in terms of unnecessary energy usage and is wasting valuable City funds. Could this please be looked at again urgently? Thank you.

No lights on street, 21st April
We’ve now lost the only light on the street that was working. This is seriously dangerous in the night as no one can see walking down the street. This has been going on for months. It’s ludicrous it’s taken so long to fix a light when we pay so much council tax. What on earth is going on?!?

This has been reported, but still unresolved., 21st April
My husband cycled over this last week and nearly came off his bicycle. I was following him and his front wheel hit the edge of the dropped drain, his back wheel wobbled and how he stayed on his bicycle I do not know. He was very lucky not to be injured. I see this has been reported, is now closed to comments but still unresolved. Case number - 5669966 If this is due to traffic in the cycle line then this drain cover needs to be changed for a more sturdy one, suitable for traffic.

Light not lit, 21st April
This light on the side of the building does not work and that side of the street is quite dark. I'm not sure how long it's been like that, as I've only recently realised there was a broken light there.

BCC Bin in Road, 20th April
Bristol city council Bins are being stored in road. It looks like these bins are supposed to be stored in a bin store rather than permanently in the road. It makes the area look untidy. Bristol city council should be trying to make the area look nicer. The bins also block the road. Please remove.
