No white lines. No cats eyes., 19th March
Ascending Tog Hill in the dark, the visibility is atrocious. There are no (clearly defined) white lines and certainly not a single cats' eye defining the lanes. I sincerely hope this, potentially dangerous situation will be resolved very soon. Thank you.

Road collapsing, 16th February
There is a metal cover in the road surface, it and the road are collapsing.
Large numbers of heavy vehicles pass over the problem everyday. The number has increased since the bridge in Bath problem and the one over the M4 on the Yate road. These extra vehicles are increasing the wear on the A420.

A long line of deep potholes in the centre of the road, 16th February
All of the red section of Naishcombe Hill is disintegrating. The section in the middle of the road is especially poor. Old repairs lasted a few weeks.
The gutters of the lower half of Naishcombe Hill are accumulating more and more large stones from the potholes. These stones are being thrown up in the air by traffic.
More and more lorries exceeding the Abson weight limit are using Naishcombe Hill increasing the wear on the road.
The central ruts are a great risk to two wheeled vehicles. The loose stones need to be cleared as well as repairing the road surface for the long term.

The road surface in the upper part of Woodmead lane is disintegrating. There are numerous potholes and a patchwork of previous repairs with the middle of the lane completely overgrown with grass., 7th January
The surface of the upper part of Woodmead lane need to be replaced /repaired. It is causing damage to vehicles and makes cycling hazardous. This part of the lane has been patched up over many years but seems to have had it now.

Road is collapsing, 18th August
The road is collapsing from the western edge, across the centre to the eastern edge.
Vehicles are crossing the centre of the road to avoid the worst of the sunken section. The collapse of the road is increasing in depth and extent.
So many vehicles over the weight limit for this road are being diverted along Abson Road this will get worse and may cause an accident to anyone on two wheels or hit by a vehicle over the centre of the road.

Drain completely blocked as are many others., 18th August
This drain is completely blocked with plants growing all over. Up and down the High Street other drains are completely blocked or partially so.
Heavy rain creates a stream flowing down the road. Traffic passing splashes pedestrians and throws up water on the following vehicles.
