It is also home to a variety of leisure attractions, such as Weston-Super Mare's Grand Pier and the SeaQuarium, as well as a range of outdoor activities from hiking to fishing along the River Avon. The postcode district is also home to the Clarence Park industrial estate where a range of businesses and services are located.

Finally, there is a variety of housing types within the BS24 postcode district from modern apartments to traditional Victorian terraces. The area was historically occupied by farming communities, but the demographic has since shifted to one of commuters and retirees who use the local transport links to access larger cities nearby.
