BN16 is located in an excellent locale for exploring all that the South Downs and Sussex coast have to offer. For outdoor enthusiasts there are abundant opportunities for walking, cycling, and horse-riding, while Goring Beach is a great spot to soak up the sun and take in the sea air. Other attractions include Goring Pier and the seafront promenade, Worthing Pier and Lido, and Splash Point Leisure Centre for swimming and leisure activities.

Goring-by-Sea, within the BN16 postcode area, is served by many local bus routes which give access to nearby Tarring, Durrington, Worthing and Brighton. Additionally, local churches, nurseries, and a library are a few of the amenities available for the convenience of residents.
