The area is served by a good public transport system, with nearby Birmingham serving as the major hub for the region. Tamworth has its own station on the CrossCountry line, providing connections to destinations across the UK. Buses run between the local towns and villages as well as to Birmingham and Coventry.

In terms of education, the postcode area is served by a selection of state and independent schools at both primary and secondary level. Tamworth is home to the only sixth form college in North Warwickshire, providing higher education options.

The borough of North Warwickshire is a great place for outdoor recreation, with numerous country parks, golf courses, football pitches, bowls clubs, cycling routes and equestrian centres located in and around the area. Tamworth also hosts many annual events, such as the Tamworth Festival held in June and Tamworth Arts Festival and B77 Music Festivals in July.
