The B69 postcode area is well connected by road, rail and public transport. The area is easily accessed from the M5 Motorway, A4540 Ring Road and the Birmingham City Centre. It is also accessible to rail services from Birmingham New Street and Snow Hill Stations, which provide regular and convenient access to all parts of the city. The Black Country Spine Road, a major tourist route, runs through Oldbury from its junction with the M5.

The area also has a wealth of amenities for locals and visitors alike, including outdoor recreational areas such as Warley Woods and Rowley Park, and retail and business services at Oldbury High Street and Dudley Street in Tividale. There are also a number of pubs, restaurants and take-aways located in the B69 area.

Education provision is provided by numerous primary and secondary schools as well as the University of Birmingham Tividale Campus.

The B69 area also provides a range of healthcare facilities including doctors' surgeries at Tividale and Oldbury, and Rowley Regis Health Centre. The internationally renowned Queen Elizabeth Hospital is also nearby.

The B69 area is served by several bus services, both service buses and express buses. These services are operated by National Express West Midlands, who provide direct routes to Birmingham City Centre and Dudley.

The area is serviced by Sandwell and Dudley Councils, who are responsible for local authority services such as bin collections, housing, planning and more. Sandwell is the lead council, and is located in Tipton.
