The B66 postcode is a postcode area located in Birmingham, England, encompassing the localities of Bearwood and Smethwick which are part of the wider Sandwell Borough. The area is bordered to the east by postcode B67, to the south by B70 and to the north by old postal districts of B16 and B17.

The district is largely residential and predominantly two-storey, terraced housing, many of which were built during the 19th and 20th centuries. Industry in the area includes car parts manufacturing, repair and service businesses, fine engine manufacturing and electronic component factories.

As a result of an influx of Muslim immigrants during the 1960s, parts of the area are served by a thriving Asian community. A number of Asian-owned businesses – mainly catering, restaurants and furniture shops – have grown in the neighbourhood, contributing to its commercial life.

Public transportation is provided by the metro rail, which serves both Bearwood and Smethwick stations. Bus services offer a connection to more local destinations, while the Birmingham-Wolverhampton railway provides journeys to other cities.

Recreation opportunities abound with two large parks, Lightwoods Park and the Sandwell Valley Country Park, which feature children's play areas, riverside walks, outdoor theatre and sports courts. There are also a number of community centres featuring clubs and classes for local residents.

Schools in the area include a variety of primary and secondary schools, such as Croft Primary, Bearwood Primary and Victoria School. Higher education options are provided by Sandwell College and other tertiary providers.

The B66 postcode is an area rich in economic, cultural and social diversity where both young and established constituents reside. Despite its residential nature, there is no lack of cultural offerings or retail activity.
