B64 has good transport links, it is close to junction 3 of the M5, connecting it to Greater Birmingham via the M6, as well as the South via the M5. In terms of public transport, residents enjoy the convenience of Greater Birmingham Cross City line, Black Country, Londonderry and Sandwell lines.
The area is made up of mainly residential housing, however there are some busy industrial areas in Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Old Hill and Quinton. The area also boasts plenty of parks such as the Hagley, Rowley and Warley Woods Country Park and the Pool Houses Park.
The area is also well-known for its vibrant music scene, and the area is home to The Black Country Roots Rock and Reggae band, as well as plenty of popular local pubs, clubs, eateries and shops.
In terms of education, there are seven primary schools within the district, two secondary schools and three further education colleges. Additionally, the area is served by Dudley College of Technology and Birmingham City University's Langley Campus.
Residents of the B64 area benefit from the lowest average rent and house prices of all parts of the West Midlands region, making it an attractive area for families.
