The educational offerings in B35 are good too, with 12 primary schools, two secondary and one special school, as well as nearby Sutton Coldfield College. Those looking for employment have plenty to choose from, ranging from industrial fields like engineering and construction, to white-collar offices in fields such as finance, IT, and marketing.

Shopping-wise, B35 serves its residents well with a wide range of supermarkets as well as convenience stores and smaller independent retailers. There are also two leisure centres - Kingshurst Leisure Centre and Shard End Leisure Centre - which offer a variety of activities. For those seeking entertainment and culture, there are several pubs, a theatre, a cinema, an ice rink, and several beauty spots.

In terms of religion, most of the population are Christian, with smaller proportions of Muslims, Jews and Sikhs. B35 also has a diverse selection of housing, ranging from terraced houses to detached family homes. Property prices vary depending on the area, but are generally well below the national average.

All in all, the B35 postcode district offers an excellent blend of affordability, convenience and choice. From its excellent transport links to its great range of amenities, it's the perfect place to live and work.
