The B24 postcode is within walking distance to the popular Sutton Park, a 2,400-acre country park surrounding Sutton Coldfield. This park features lakes, meadows, woodlands, and galleried walkways, and is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. Additionally, the nearby Erdington Abbey Park provides further recreational opportunities for those living in the area, including playing fields, a children's play area, and a outdoors theatrical performance space.

Those living in the B24 postcode have access to a number of local amenities, including supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, pubs, as well as health and leisure facilities.
