Kings Heath is a vibrant residential area and commercial centre with strong community spirit. It has lots of independent retailers, cafes and restaurants, creating a unique atmosphere in this area.

The Billesley area is mainly residential with some schools and leisure parks. The area has seen an influx of new businesses, shops, bars and restaurants as well as a thriving local community organisations such as the Kings Heath Local History Society. It also has several parks including Billesley Common, Billesley Pool, and Open Air Swimming Pool.

The final area, Small Heath has experienced regeneration in recent years and is now home to trendy bars, restaurants and a high number of trendy art galleries. Small Heath is a mix of industrial, residential and commercial activity, making it an attractive area for entrepreneurs.

It is easy to get around in the B12 area as it falls within the circular route of the Birmingham SuperStop service, using modern trams and buses, with frequent stops. The area also benefits from Cyclepaths, a secure and convenient way to get around.
